Bactericidal  Efficacy :
FUSITULLE^TM is a steroidal antibacterial with a bactericidal activity, mainly against Gram-positive bacteria. Sodium Fusidate inhibits bactericidal protein synthesis although, but inhibits a factor necessary for translocation of peptide sub units and elongation of peptide chain.

FUSITULLE^TM contains an antibiotic which exerts powerful antibacterial activity against a number of Gram-postive organisms. Staphylococci, including the strains resistant to penicillin or other antibiotics. The therapeutic efficacy of topically applied FUSITULLE^TM Dressing is partly due to the pronounced antibacterial activity of Sodium Fusidate against the organisms responsible for skin infections and partly to the unique ability of this antibiotic for penetration of intact skin.

Indications :
FUSITULLE^TM is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by Staphylococci, Streptococci or other sensitive organisms; the most important indications being: Impetigo,Sycosis barbae, Paronychia, Folliculitis, Carbuncles, Infected wounds, Boils, Cellulitis with Gram-positive organisms.

Contra - indications :
FUSITULLE^TM  is for use only on your skin. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes or inside your mouth or nose. Do not apply the ointment over large skin areas. Do not use to treat a deep cut, an animal bite or a serious burn.
